Ingredients

  • Tomatoes
  • Optional - oregano basil

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 200 F / 95 C.
  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  3. You can leave your tomatoes whole or slice them in half. Leaving them whole will take longer to fully dehydrate.
  4. Leave in your oven for 5-6 hours or until you are happy with the texture.
  5. Add to a glass jar and store them in the fridge for a month. You can alternatively put them into a freezer safe container and store them in the freezer for about 3 months.

Notes

You can add a handful of cherry tomatoes to a bowl and pour boiling water over top. Allow them to sit for about 45 minutes and then drain the tomatoes. You can alternatively add a handful of cherry tomatoes to olive oil and allow them to steep for about a day. Simply drain and use the tomatoes.
