Equipment

  • Sewing machine
  • Scissors
  • Seam ripper
  • Pins
  • Iron (an iron will make the process faster, but it’s not necessary)

Materials

  • 1.5 Yards Of 100% Linen Fabric Or A Linen/Cotton Blend
  • Matching Thread

Instructions

  • Wash and dry your fabric to avoid the napkins from shrinking later.
  • Cut out 4 pieces measuring 15”x15”.
  • Turn down each side by ¼ inch and then another ¼ inch. If you’re
using an iron, iron down the sides to make sewing the napkins easier.
  • Pin the sides into place.
  • Sew down the edges, taking care to sew in a straight line, close to the edge.
  • That’s it!

Notes

A nice, large dinner napkin will be roughly 15″x15″ but you can make these to be any size. If you have linen remnants on hand, just use what you have!
