Speaking for myself, I cannot wait to taste autumn flavours again. Pumpkins and pecans and blackberries and apples.. they all sound delicious. And they all taste delicious in pies!

(For more fall flavours you could also try these brie mashed potatoes.)

This 3 ingredient pie crust couldn’t be simpler.

Add the cubed butter into the food processor and blitz until the flour, salt, and butter have a grainy texture. Again, a whisk can be used to do this – it will just take a bit more elbow grease.

Slowly add the cold water into the food processor and blitz until a dough just begins to form.

Remove the dough from the food processor and create a ball with the dough.

Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and put into the fridge for at least 3 hours.

Once you’re ready to bake your pie, roll the dough out into a circle. Add the dough to a pie dish and use a fork to poke a few holes in the crust. You do not need to bake the pie crust separately from the filling. You can add the filling into the pie crust and bake.
